Midsole restoration — the most-requested specific work
BGC sneakerheads' single most-requested specific work is white midsole restoration — bringing back yellowed Jordan 1 and Dunk midsoles. We clean midsoles by hand without abrasive whitening chemicals that damage rubber over time. Results are visible: a midsole that comes back several shades whiter without altering the sneaker's structural condition. Realistic expectation: significantly whiter but not always pure white, depending on age and UV exposure.
Pricing
Pricing is by material, not hype: standard sneakers ₱400 per pair, full-suede pairs (Sambas, Gazelles, suede 990s) ₱600, all-leather pairs ₱700. Midsole restoration alone (no full clean): ₱200.
Drop-off
Bring the pairs in their original box if you have it. Counter staff will document existing condition at intake — scuffs, fades, lining wear, midsole oxidation level — before accepting. Standard turnaround is three to five days. Rush is not available for sneakers — the drying step is what governs the timeline, and rushing it leads to mold or sub-optimal results.
